9 Things to Do Before You Turn 40

For many, turning 40 can be a frightening life event. This is the age when you think “oh, boy, I’m forty!” I’ve always wanted to do all the things I haven’t yet. This can lead to a midlife crisis. This is your chance to stop it! This post will show you how to prevent yourself from getting old before 40. You won’t stay young forever! These things are more difficult as you age. Have you ever wanted to be able to say you have traveled the world? You’ve been to Europe and Asia. Take a look at the list. Some of these you may have done!

Triathlon is “multiple-stage competition that involves the completion of three continuous and sequential endurance disciplines.” Today’s triathlons are basically swim/bike/run events done in this order. You might think a marathon is hard. But wait! The ironman triathlon has a 3.86 km (2.4 mi), a 180.25km (112-mi), and a 42.2km (26.2-mi), run. It’s a marathon-length event. You must race in the same order as before and without stopping! You don’t have to run in the opposite direction. There are triathlons with varying distances that can be done. A sprint triathlon is 750m/ (0.47 mi)/ 20km (12.4 mi), / 5km, while an Olympic triathlon takes 1.5 km (0.93 mi), / 40km (24.8 mi), / 10 km (6.2 miles).

Try a new sport

Sport is a great way to keep fit! You can find a sport that suits your needs, regardless of whether you prefer to play indoors or outdoors. Here are some examples of technique sports:
-Squash and badminton are all racket sports.
You can also do scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, wakeboarding, or sailing.
Group sports include soccer, rugby, basketball, baseball and ultimate frisbee.

You can get up close to marine life by snorkeling and scuba diving.

Go Skiing

Skiing is a wonderful activity that allows you glide on the snow and control your motor movements. Skiing is not an easy sport and should be taught to beginners. However, it is worth trying, especially if you don’t live in winter. Although I have never tried skiing before, I would like to give it a try the next time I visit the area.
